Projekat EXP in Oslo

The Union is delighted to host the Project EXP crew—SARA KECMAN, EDVARD WINTERS, DARKO SRETIĆ, and VLADIMIR JANIĆ from Novi Sad, Serbia. We’re excited to welcome them to Oslo for a two-week stay from February 12th to February 27th.

Let’s make them feel at home—reach out, connect, and get involved!

“During our two-week stay in Oslo, we aim to explore collaboration opportunities with “The Union” organization, focusing on potential joint projects between Novi Sad and Oslo in the future. Our goal is to foster cross-cultural dialogue, expand our professional networks, and identify ways to address themes such as environmental awareness and socio-political issues through art.”

Project EXP was founded in early 2022 in Novi Sad, Serbia, as a collective response to the growing need for a specific form of communication among art students. Its name reflects three key concepts defining the project—expression, experimentation, and expansion. At its core lies the undeniable drive of young artists to explore and experiment, to merge and interconnect various media, to engage in artistic collaborations, to expand their creative expression by reflecting on meaningful themes, as well as to frame their artistic practice through direct interaction with the audience. The primary objective is to create new opportunities and conditions for young artists’ creative endeavors within the community while strengthening their mutual connections.

With the official establishment of the Association of Artists “Project EXP” in 2023, our goal is to strengthen and support the local and regional art scene, with a particular focus on young and emerging artists, while fostering collaborations with artists and art collectives at both the national and international levels.
